For all the bangloreans...
A new attraction has been added to the list of tourist spots in Bangalore....

And this time its the new Freedom Park, a tribute to our freedom fighters...located in one of the oldest roads of Bangalore the Sheshadri road, in the old central jail premises. Actually they have remodeled the old jail to this new freedom park and at display are the dark days of freedom struggle and other sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.

The view from outside is simply beautiful, with the Asoka pillar at the entrance, and the blue radial wall like structure, it tends to attract anyone looking at it.

This park is built inside the high walls of the old central jail... It mixes the blend of the ancient jail structures trying to give a panoramic details of it.

It is said to have the essence of the barracks , old cells and other old structures inside it, there is a theater to stage drama's and also a place for rallies..

With the phase I of the structure complete ... they are stepping into the next phase and building
few more tourist attractions inside the premises.

This could be one of the additions to the museums in Bangalore actually after the Visvesvarya Technological museum's success. And this could be a new step in the study our history.. and a nice place to have your weekend planned.

This could also add to the heavy traffic on the Bangalores prime road.... leading to more road blocks, and traffic jams but since the work of the magic box ,in the maharani's circle this might go balanced...

Easiest way to reach the Freedom Park is by bus. Its less than one kilometer from the Bangalores KempeGowda Bus stand alias the Majestic.. just jump into any bus going towards corporation, get down at maharani college bus stop.
